The United States’ first match since their run at the 2026 FIFA World Cup offered plenty to be excited about.
All eyes were on 16-year-old attacker Cavan Sullivan, who earned his first U.S. cap (and start) against Peru on Saturday, but it was fellow teenagers Justin Ellis and Julian Hall who stole the show, scoring one goal apiece in their debuts. All told, 11 Americans represented their country for the first time in the 4-1 win in Orlando, Florida.
