Real Madrid beat Deportivo La Coruña 1-0 in their latest pre-season friendly on Wednesday, with Brahim Díaz scoring just before halftime.
Summer signings Bernardo Silva and Denzel Dumfries started the game in Galicia, with another new arrival, Carlos Espí, coming on at the break.
Madrid were without a number of key first team players, with Jude Bellingham joining Kylian Mbappé, Marc Cucurella, Yan Diomande and Ibrahima Konaté in training at the club’s Valdebebas training ground on Wednesday, rather than featuring in the friendly match.
Diaz, 27, slotted low past Depor goalkeeper Leo Román in the 46th minute to score the only goal of the game.

The encounter, hosted at Riazor — Depor’s traditional Teresa Herrera Trophy — was Madrid’s third of pre-season under new coach José Mourinho, after a 2-2 draw with Fiorentina and a 2-1 win at Ferencvaros.
Madrid play Schalke on Aug. 16 before kicking off the LaLiga season away to Espanyol on Aug. 22.
