The weekend is here, and with it, we have action from all across Europe, with all five of the continent’s major leagues finally in action!
We kicked things off in the Premier League with Liverpool having to twice come from behind to draw 2-2 with Nottingham Forest in their first home league match of the season at Anfield, leaving both sides still looking for their first win of the campaign.
In the Premier League’s afternoon action, AFC Bournemouth and Everton shared the spoils and Coventry City fell to Hull City in a matchup of two newly promoted sides. In the late game, Tottenham Hotspur suffered their second straight defeat of the league campaign, suffering a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United.
Elsewhere in Europe, Sevilla hosted Atlético Madrid in LaLiga, while the Bundesliga saw RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund pick up wins as Bayer Leverkusen weren’t so lucky, and in Serie A, Juventus claimed a 2-0 win over Parma.
