Chelsea have made a €45 million (£38.5m) bid for Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara amid ongoing talks with Manchester City over the possible departure of Enzo Fernández, sources have told ESPN.
The 22-year-old is interested in a move to Stamford Bridge but sources suggest a deal is unlikely to be agreed between the clubs at that price.
The Blues are also in talks to sign Roma‘s Manu Kane but as of Tuesday morning, no breakthrough was imminent.

Chelsea’s interest in the pair comes as City step up their pursuit of Fernández with the clubs now in direct talks over a possible deal.
The Blues set an Aug. 14 deadline for interested parties to offer the £120m asking price for Fernandez but that passed without City — or any other club — making a formal proposal.

Chelsea had hoped to draw a line under the situation but Fernández wants to leave the club and sources say the Blues are open to a last-minute exit if their terms are met.
