With the nights beginning to draw in and a chill in the air, Bayern Munich have released their annual Oktoberfest kit for the 2026-27 season in the week leading up to the start of the famous Bavarian festival.
The German Bundesliga giants have released an official jersey to mark Oktoberfest — or “Wiesn”, to give the festival its proper name — every year since 2021, and this year’s entry into the pantheon might just be the wildest yet.
Whereas most of the previous designs have been fairly demure, with subtle nods toward various traditional aspects of Wiesn decorated with plush gold trim, the shackles have well and truly been cast off this year.

For example, last season’s handsome cream and green jersey was designed to coincide with the club’s 125th anniversary as well as the 190th anniversary of the Munich beer festival. However, the zany 2026-27 edition serves simply as a celebration of the spirit of Oktoberfest — the atmosphere, the colours and the revelry.
As such, the shirt is covered with an abstract floral pattern that resembles bouquets of blurred flowers in multiple shades of red, white, blue, yellow and green strewn across the black base. The result is a bewildering graphic that also features the classic Adidas trefoil alongside the bespoke “FC Bayern Wiesn” club crest that has featured on most of the previous Oktoberfest jerseys.

The shirt forms part of a wider range of complementary Bayern Oktoberfest apparel with matching jackets, cardigans and sweat pants also available. For those fans wishing to go all out, the club are also selling genuine leather FC Bayern lederhosen shorts, heavy woolen boot socks and traditional dirndl dresses.
With the 191st Munich Oktoberfest set to kick off this coming Saturday (Sept. 19), Bayern are planning to debut their special edition 2026-27 Wiesn kit the day before, when they take on Union Berlin at the Allianz Arena on Sept. 18.
