LONDON — Manchester United teenager JJ Gabriel has been given a trading card made with real 24-carat gold, days after making his unofficial senior debut for the club.
The 15-year-old forward, regarded as one of the brightest prospects to emerge from United’s academy in recent years, came on in the club’s preseason win over Atlético Madrid.
The appearance does not count as a competitive debut — but made him the youngest player to feature for Manchester United’s senior side in any match.
Gabriel’s card, numbered 1 of 1, forms part of the new Premier League trading card collection released on Thursday, with the youngster tipped to become one of the most sought-after rookie cards in the set.

Last month, the company released a card featuring an image of Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal as a child as he was bathed by Lionel Messi, before the two met in the World Cup final.
Last season, cards featuring youth talent fetched five-figure sums, according to the manufacturer.
Cards of Chelsea teenager Estêvão sold for £89,000 ($119,767.30) and £74,000 ($99,581.80) during the 2025-26 campaign.

Gabriel is the youngest of 20 players depicted on a gilded Topps card this year.
The list includes Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Arsenal‘s Declan Rice, as well as former league strikers Alan Shearer and Harry Kane, who plays at Bayern Munich.
