Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winner as Al Nassr maintained their perfect start to the Saudi Pro League season with a 2-1 victory over Al Taawoun.
The 41-year-old led the line for Al Nassr, who had to come back from behind once again following their remarkable 3-2 triumph against Al Ettifaq on Tuesday.
Ange Postecoglou’s side had goalkeeper Bento sent off and trailed 2-0 at half-time before the former Tottenham boss sacrificed Ronaldo, with Al Nassr scoring three goals in the final 16 minutes to snatch all three points.

Ronaldo played the full match this time around, but he had to watch his side fall behind due to Bassam Al-Hurayji’s 11th-minute effort.
Samú Costa levelled in the fifth minute of first-half stoppage time before the Portugal international notched his 978th career goal in the second period.

Great work down the left wing saw João Félix break into the Al Taawoun area and his cut-back eventually found Mohamed Simakan on the edge of the box, whose goalbound effort was flicked in by Ronaldo from six yards in the 50th minute.
Simakan was in disbelief as Ronaldo wheeled away in celebration, with replays showing his strike would have found the bottom corner, as Al Nassr made it four wins from four games to top the table.
