Trent Alexander-Arnold is back in the England fold as one of several players included who missed out on the World Cup in Thomas Tuchel’s latest squad ahead of their four Nations League matches.
Uncapped Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott is included, as are Brighton‘s Jason Steele, Everton‘s Jarrad Branthwaite, Newcastle’s Lewis Hall, Arsenal‘s Myles Lewis-Skelly, Chelsea‘s Cole Palmer, Leeds’ Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Liverpool’s Rio Ngumoha. Tino Livramento was named in Tuchel’s World Cup squad but was injured before the tournament. He was replaced by Trevoh Chalobah — both are named in Tuchel’s 27-player squad.
Reece James, Ivan Toney, John Stones, Jordan Henderson, Ollie Watkins, Dean Henderson, Dan Burn, Noni Madueke and Djed Spence miss out having made the World Cup squad. Stones, Dean Henderson, Jordan Henderson, Burn and Spence are yet to play this season through injury.
