Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane became the fastest player in history to reach 100 Bundesliga goals, reaching the milestone in just his 98th appearance on Friday.
Kane secured the record by converting a 39th-minute penalty in Bayern Munich’s home match with Union Belin.
The England captain smashed the previous record of 129 appearances to get 100 goals, set by Dieter Müller’s during his time with Cologne in the 1970s.
Kane has reached the landmark little more than three years after joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, having scored 36 goals in his debut Bundesliga campaign, 26 in 2024-25 and 35 last season.
The 33-year-old has finished as the Bundesliga’s leading scorer in each of his three seasons in Germany, helping Bayern win back-to-back league titles in 2024-25 and 2025-26.

His century is the latest in a remarkable run of goalscoring milestones since moving to Munich.
Kane scored his 100th goal for Bayern in all competitions in just his 104th appearance, during a 4-0 victory over Werder Bremen in September 2025. That made him the fastest player to score 100 goals for a club in Europe‘s top five leagues in the 21st century, eclipsing the 105 games needed by Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid and Erling Haaland at Manchester City.
He has since taken his Bayern tally to 151 goals in 154 appearances.
Kane’s latest milestone also continues a prolific year in which he helped Bayern retain the Bundesliga title and reach the semifinals of the Champions League.

The striker scored 35 league goals last term and 61 in all competitions, while Bayern set a Bundesliga record with 112 goals on their way to the title.
Kane is also England’s all-time leading scorer and took his international tally to 70 goals during this summer’s World Cup.
He has among the frontrunners for the Ballon d’Or, which will be announced on Oct. 26th.
